Outlook 2007 - INBOX Keeps Going Back to Top Message

....and I don't want this. With Outlook 2003, I also sorted my inbox by
latest date last, and each time I would go to the inbox, it would display the
latest emails, like I wanted. Now, each time I go the the inbox, it goes to
the top - shows me the oldest - and I don't want this.

Anybody have any ideas on this?

it should work the same in outlook 2007. try opening outlook using the
/cleanviews switch.

I start Outlook from an icon. How would I start it with this switch? And
every time, for that matter?

Goto 'Start|Run', type

Outook /cleanviews

and click OK. You should only have to do this once.

Yes, I see that now. Diane and Hal...thanks so much!! I have posted this
before with no replies - until today - has been bugging me for months, and
it's finally fixed!!!!

WELL, looks like I spoke too soon...

It DID work for a while, but hours later, the inbox is back to going back to
the top / oldest messages.
