outlook 2007 in window vista

i am running window vista and after setting my outlook mail which is office
2007 ..and creating a password for it ...i get every now and then a pop up
box called personal folders telling me to put my password ...and when i do
it goes... but then again after a while it pops again asking me the same
again
any idea to why this happens and to how i can stop it from poping up every
now and then ...
bearing in mind in my other pc where i am running window xp ..i have set my
outlook in the same way but i never get this pop up window...any help
please?

Hard to say at this level of detail.
How many pst-files do you have connected and do you have them all password
protected?
For which pst-file does it ask your password? The main pst-file?
 
roady... i didnt understand as to how many pst files do i have connected?
and no i dont have password to them...it ask for a password for personal
folder which is supposed to b a pst file i think.

see i used to set a passwrod for my outlook in window xp office 2003 for
each time i want to open my outlook and i didnt have a problem...
now with window vista office 2007 when i did the same i get every now and
then a pophope to find help in this

So where exactly did you set this password and which one are you actually
putting in?
You're contradicting yourself in whether or not you've configured a password
yourself.
You can reset a password by right clicking the root folder of your pst-file
(Outlook Today)-> Properties-> Advanced-> Change Password

Set it to a black password and then see if it goes away. If so, you can
assign it a password again if you want and see if the issues returns.
 
see when you set up yr outlook you are provided to choose a user name and
password from yr provider

now there is an option to have a password for everytime when u want to open
outlook which i tried to set and that is in (mail setup) then (data files)
personal folders so i set it there and its the same one where i used to do it
always when i was using window xp office 2003... but now when i did the same
here in window vista office 2007 when my outlook is closed and not in use
everytime a box keep popping up every now and then asking me to enter my
password , and when i do that after a while it comes again ... my question is
to how to stop this from popping up ...i didnt face this problem with window
xp office 2003 ...i hope i was clear this time in giving the pic of what is
happening ?? so any idea now to what to do ?
