Outlook 2007 Imported distribution list and Vista unable to send

I have imported a contact lsit from Outlook 2003 (OS -XP system) into the
program Outlook 2007 + businness manager ( OS Vista Home premium) . The
export / import of the .pst file worked all ok, Individual addresses are able
to be sent emails . Except when I group these contacts into a distribution
list and then I send the email to the group. The posted message just sits in
the outbox. It does not send.

I have recreated the distribution list , renamed the list etc and still no
luck.

No. Exporting and importing always loses data. DL's are always destroyed by
that process.

Does this mean I must retype in the email addresses as new contacts in
Outlook 2007 and then re create the DL . Since I have already tried to re
created the DL with a new name etc using the individual imported addresses.

Is this what I need to do?

Either that or go back and transfer your original data correctly: copy the
PST file and open it in Outlook.
