Outlook 2007 - HTML forms?

Guest

I have upgraded from outlook 2000 to 2007 - but when I receive HTML forms,
the space(s) to put my text in are no longer displayed. Instead I just see
several [ ] boxes...
Also, the submit button is not displayed either.
Is there a setting I can/should change?

No, in Outlook 2007, Microsoft makes some significant changes in the way Outlook handles cascading style sheets and a number of HTML elements. Form elements are no longer supported. These articles, published last summer, document the changes:

This is messing up our email campaigns developed using Constant Contact.
When is Microsoft going to fix this?

This change was made by design by Microsoft. That means, there is
nothing to fix for them.
I suggest you look into alternatives to HTML forms in emails.

I understand that forms HTML are no longer supported in Outlook 2007,
and therefore HTML forms should no longer be used in future mails.

How do I view older mails in my inbox that uses HTML form fields?

To me this presents a rather large problem as the field i completely
hidden. Even mail-forwarding these HTML-messages to other mail clients
does not work! Outlook 2007 does not forward the original message - it
forwards only the garbled version leaving out valuable information in
the form fields.

I hope there is a solution to this problem.
