I posted here earlier about this bug: >> when Outlook is set to retrieve
only headers, sender & subject are not displayed when sent from gmail <<
and BillR replied that this was due to gmail but no because I just received
an email from wanadoo and sender and subject were not displayed in the
header so this is the proof that it is not due to gmail.

Not only gmail & wanadoo but also plenty of others (rbkc.gov.uk,
asmm.fr...). It seems that header information is not displayed anymore. Am
I the only one to have this bug? I took some screenshots, just in case.

ISP: PlusNet
I am downloading from Gmail and it happens for messages sent from Gmail,
Wanadoo, Comcast, AOL etc...

I am using Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2006.

Hello ah,

Just to be clear -- what ISP are you using? Are you downloading from
GMail or is this happening on messages sent to you from people who are
using GMail?

I only download the emails I choose. Some others I only read on gmail
server. Anyway, ADSL or not, there is here a bug to fix and, contrary to
beta testing Outlook 2003, where you could contact Microsoft, for Outlook
2007 public beta testing, this option is not included in the test pack. Too
bad.

BillR in (Bug in Outlook 2007
27 May 10:12am) wrote that it was due to gmail but I just received in my
inbox a header from a gmail account and sender and subject are displayed.
On the contrary, as I have already written in this thread, they are not
displayed for plenty of others coming from several different mail accounts.
So this bug is NOT due to gmail.

I am having the same problem. When I download headers only, the subject is
blank and the date received is NONE. It does not seem to be dependent on the
email account that the I am using to receive the message. The problem also
seeems to be a bit random. The subject and date will appear for some of the
emails from an account and not for others. I have tried it disabling my
Norton Antivirus email protection to see if the problem goes away. It does
not.
Even running Outlook in safe mode does not solve the problem.

As with "ah", I am downloading headers only so that I can delete the garbage
emails without downloading the whole message.
