Outlook 2007 gets disconnected. How to restore connection?

I'm a Help Desk in a small business with 80 users. After installing MS Office
2007 many users have a problem with Outlook 2007. On both desktops and
laptops Outlook gets disconnected. I tried flushDNS, ipconfic release and
renew, Office diagnostics, Office repair etc but nothing helps. Sometime new
Outlook profile helps, sometime does not help. Please advise.

You are experiencing the main benefit of upgrading to Office 2007- more job
security for help desk workers.
 
I am having a very similar problem - Outlook 2007 on Vista is disconnected
from our Excahnge 2003 Server. Sometimes it connects and is then disconnected
again. I can ping the server and other machines on the network seem to be
working OK.

So I would be interested to hear if there is an easy solution
 
Have you checked to see if you have a default gateway in network settings
because I found without one outlook 2007 would not see the excange server -
put one in worked fine - both under vista and xp
