Outlook 2007 freezes after SP1 update

I was in a hurry to install Office 2007 SP1 and ever since then each time I
start Outlook, it "seems to work for a second or two" (sorry about that) but
then it freezes.
I changed PST files, created a new one, delete all email accounts, but
unfortunately freezing persists. I also disabled the anti-virus, but it
didn't change anything.

Any idea?

Thanks,
Ury

check in Outlook /safe mode
to do this go to start run type Outlook /safe
if it works
search and rename outcmd.dat frmcache.dat extend.dat
and restart the computer

Thanks for the reply.
Strangely enough, while safe mode didn't change the symptoms, renaming the
below files seemed to work.

I do still experience the same problem whenever I select a specific meeting
invitation, so I've changed the PST file back to the old one (managed not to
lose a single message - lucky me) and for now it's working.

I hope it helps to other people. If anyone knows the root cause for this,
please share.

Ury
