Outlook 2007 extra line in e-mails

Hi friends,
When composing e-mails in Outlook 2007, I hit <enter> to create a new
line. When my friends view my e-mails in GMail or other interfaces,
there are two lines breaks instead! In 2003 I recall one could switch
the e-mail editor to fix this, and I know that hitting shift-enter
displays as a single line-break, but i do not want to be hitting shift-
enter my entire life...

Are there any solutions??

Thanks,
Dhruv

This will fix it: Open Word 2007. Go to top right corner to see Change Styles - click, choose Style Set, Word 2003. When you go to write an email in Outlook now, it will show up on the reciever's end as it used to with no extra blank spaces.

The only thing I am not sure of is if this "Sticks" as a default and if not, how to make it.

All you have to do is one more step to make it the default. Click on Change Styles again and choose "Set as Default"
