Outlook 2007 / Exchange / POP3

Andrew

Users have a pop account on external servers that the client pops to their
mail box and is delivered to the information store on Exchange.
This creates two accounts for each user - The pop account that sends and
recieves email for them, and their exchange account that stores everything
and allows them to share calendars and Public folders.

I have set the default account to be the pop account.

However, each time the user logs off or reboots this setting defaults back
to the exchange server as the default account.

Any Suggestions??

Yes - SBS 2003 R2.

I appologize for the next question, but these reg edits to be done on server
or workstation? If Server does this require reconfiguration of the
workstation client or is this a case that once the Edit is completed, server
restarted the clients will remain keeping their pop accounts as default?

Thanks for your patience and advice - Client now is going to move towards
full hosting their own email - but will take a month or so before they are
ready to do so.

It needs to be done on the client.
