Outlook 2007 Error Message

I just recently changed my graphics card and I immediately started getting
the following error in Outlook:

Outlook could not create the work file. Check the temp environment variable.

I have no idea how the two are related but I was wondering if someone knows
how to resolved this error. I've searched the Microsoft web site and can
find references to a similar error message for MSWord but nothing for Outlook.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I'm also looking for a fix. The error only seems to come up if you have the
reading pane opened.
