Outlook 2007 enable Instant search

Instant search downloads to a point when it start to make registry entrys and
then stops and says it cant proceed. Then it unloads. Could you please
provide steps to correct this. Thanks much

Follow instructions carefully here, I had to change permissins on about 5
classes.

A wonderful post. I have been looking for this for years and always wondered
why the error did not appear in the Event Log. Is it the installer or an
underlying SERVICE that is making the entry in updspapi.log? For that
matter, is it always the 'updspapi.log' file
