outlook 2007 email

I am not able to send email from outlook as I keep getting error 0x8004210B
and 0x800CCC0F telling me that server has not responded or has been
disconnected but iI am able to send email through the same server and
connection in outlook express could this be a problem with the router that I
have recently connected as this problem seems to have started about the same
time
