Hi Community,

we have a little problem in our Exchange 2003 + Outlook 2007 environment.

When i type an email with an hyperlink like this
z:\testfolder\#testfolder2\testpicture.bmp

i get the message:
General failure. The URL was:
"file:///C:\Testfolder\#Testfolder2testpicture.bmp". ...

the "\" after #testfolder2 is missing. When i use this Hyperlink without the
Pound Key it works correct.

What could it be?

Does it work with other versions or outside of outlook? # normally indicates
it’s a bookmark in a file, not a file.

yes it works with outlook 2003 correct. A Windows shortcut works too. But
when i create a Hyperlink with Word2007 its the same issue.
