Outlook 2007--DL/group cannot be saved/changed--reverts to old

McPike

I have a distribution list in my address book. It's the same in my contact
list as I believe it should be. When I add or make a change to the DL and
save it, and then go to send an email to that group/DL it does not send it to
the correct individuals. Instead it sends it to an older group I used to
have by the same name....most of the individuals are the same with some
exceptions. Can anybody explain to me in simple terms what I have to do in
order for my current group/DL to be used?

I believe this is because you're using the DL definition from the
autocoompletion cache and not the changed definition from Contacts. When
you address a new message and start typing the DL name, when Outlook pops up
the name, select it with the down arrow key, if it's not already, and press
Delete. Then finish typing the DL name, press Ctrl-K to reresolve it anf
you should be good to go.
