Outlook 2007 disconnects periodically...

Hi all

I really need some urgent help on this one. At work I have a 3G connection
to check my mail at gmail which I have used in the past for work. I am also
connected to the LAN at the same time.

Outlook 2007 only works when I am connected to the LAN. When I switch on the
3G, it disconnects and does not come back unless I disconnect the 3G session
and restart Outlook.

Why can't I use both at the same time? It's very frustrating!

Security... Your IT department has setup this way to protect the company's
network from an uncontrolled access point to the internet (ie. your 3G
connection).
