I have Office 2007 Beta 2. I start Outlook [ok], open an e-mail [ok], close
it [ok]. Then I open another e-mail-->a pop-up screen comes up that allows me
to report a problem to MS and a checkbox that MS Outlook gets re-started.

I have already tried :
- running Office Diagnostics
- uninstall Office 2007 , reboot and re-install Office 2007
- checked whether the position of my preview pane makes any difference
- disabled all COM add-ins via the trust-centre

I'm runnign out of ideas. Anyone?

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, click Change for Adobe Acrobat Pro
6/7 (not the reader) and remove the Outlook & Office plugins.
Does that solve the issue?

Patrick,

THANKS! Your posting solved the problem straight away.

Out of curiosity: is this something which I could have found in any
Microsoft knowledge base (customer support or Beta program support)?

Hi Brigitte,

Yes, but MS does not offer any support for Office 2007 Beta. So there is
no knowledge base. However, you could have googled this newsgroup and
would have most likely found the answer. This problem has been
encountered a lot of times before. I think I personally post the
resolution 5 times a day at least.
