Not really since you need some place to store your data, either a PST or
Exchange Server mailbox

Mailbox is on an exchange server, just have a pst file for extra email
storage, personal folders.

Just checking if way to launch outlook without the pst attached

Just certain times. wanted to setup to outlook shortcuts normal outlook with
personal folders and one without personal folders

No, because the PST is not attached to Outlook, it is referenced by the mail
profile Outlook is opening. Either the PST is in the profile or it is not.
You can certainly have two identical profiles, one with the PST reference and
one without, and at startup specify which profile Outlook should use.

never thought of trying 2 profiles, prompt to select, that may do the trick

You can also have two shortcuts that employ the /profile command switch, with
each shortcut specifying one of the profiles.
