outlook 2007 can't open the attachment video file

when I click the video file for preview, it shown
" This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer installed for
it. "
" Browse for previewers online"

when I try click the link to "browse for previewer online",
it shown another message " A World Wide browser, such as window(R) Internet
Explorer(R), is required to use this feature."

am I missing something or the setup was wrong ?? Does anyone can help with
this ..

Not all video files can be previewed. It all depends on the file format,
which codecs have been used and which codecs are installed on your system.
Can you open it when you save it to your Desktop first and then try to open
it?

yes, I can save in local then I can open, how come I have to save it into my
local before I open it ?? can I set up the outlook 2007 to allow me to open
the video file??

What kind of video file is it? .mpg, .avi, .mov, other?
Do you open it in Windows Media Player or in another player?

they are wmv, avi ..etc, all the video can be opened by media player in
window..

Are you using Windows XP or Windows Vista?
The Windows Media Player Previewer is part of the Operating System and not
of Office 2007. Windows Vista contains the WMP Previewer, WIndows XP
doesn't.

ah ha!! I am using window XP and that's why I can not open the video file..

Can you upgrade to Windows Vista? ;-)
There is no support for Windows XP.

That a very good question, but I am not sure, is it worth to do that?? anyway
how about the web site link in the e-mail, when I click the link, outlook
2007 not allow me to open a new windows.. do you know how to fix it ??
