Hi guys. Today my Outlook 2007 just decided to stop letting me open
attachments. When I'm viewing an email, the "Message" box is highlighted.
When I click on the attachment, it highlights it briefly, then it bounces
back to the "Message" box.

Double clicking it doesn't work.
Opening the email in its own window doesn't make a difference.
Setting up the email account in a different user profile didn't make a
difference.
Running a repair using the Office 2007 CD didn't help.
I can log into Outlook Web Access and open the attachments ok.

So it appears to be specific to the Outlook program. Any advice on how I
could fix it? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Diane,

Yes, general group policies, but none of the other computers in the group
are having this particular issue. And we have no group policies specific to
Outlook functions.

I'd try rebooting then.

Thanks again for the reply.

Reboots haven't helped. At this point it's looking like a complete reinstall
of Office 2007 might be necessary. =/

Reinstalling rarely fixes what Detect and Repair doesn't (or office
diagnostics) but its worth a try since all windows accounts are affected.
