Outlook 2007- Cannot run Scanpst.exe

My Outlook 2007 will not open due to a .pst error. I have located
Scanpst.exe, and I know where the outlook.pst files are. I cannot run
scanpst.exe against them, though, because I do not have permission. I am the
administrator and sole account on this machine. I am running Vista Home
Premium.

How can I give myself file access to the users/account/applicationdata?

Try right-clicking on scanpst.exe and choosing "Run as Administrator".
