Outlook 2007 - Beta2

HELP! I hope someone can help me with this. I am a MS Partner and I
installed the new MS Office system Beta 2. I have a mobile AMD Athlon XP-M
2200+, 1.67 GHz, 736 MB of RAM and am opperating with Windows XP. I also,
just reformatted my hard drive prior to installing the Beta version.

I opened Outlook and imported my folders from 2003 that I had backed up to a
cd. I was able to use Outlook with no issues it seemed 2 or 3 times. Then
last night when I attemped to open it, it froze/crashed. I have since tried
to repair via the Microsoft Office diagnostics in the "office tools" and have
run the website diagnosis. However, I still cannot get back into Outlook.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any ideas?
 
What is the exact error?
What is logged to the Event Viewer?
Do things work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?

Look in the application log for errors logged by Outlook. Open the event and
press the copy button and paste it here.

What account type are you using?

It just never completes loading, there is no error message. And it won't

The email account type is pop3, however Outlook does not ever load it just
freezes at the very beginning. And, yes, I had already gone and updated my
system. That was part of what I did after reformatting the hard drive.

It just never completes loading, there is no error message. And it won't
even load in safe mode. Now for the log, which information are you
wanting...since I have been trying for hours to get it to work there is a
lot
of information, most of which I don't understand :-(

HELP! I hope someone can help me with this. I am a MS Partner and I
installed the new MS Office system Beta 2. I have a mobile AMD Athlon
XP-M
2200+, 1.67 GHz, 736 MB of RAM and am opperating with Windows XP. I
also,
just reformatted my hard drive prior to installing the Beta version.

I opened Outlook and imported my folders from 2003 that I had backed up
to
a
cd. I was able to use Outlook with no issues it seemed 2 or 3 times.
Then
last night when I attemped to open it, it froze/crashed. I have since
tried
to repair via the Microsoft Office diagnostics in the "office tools" and
have
run the website diagnosis. However, I still cannot get back into
Outlook.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any ideas?

Then find and delete outcmd.dat (or simply rename it to .old) and try to
open Outlook again. Does it open now?

Well, it seemed like a reasonable idea...now NOTHING seems to happen :-(
Outlook doesn't even appear to start.

UPDATE - after rebooting, I did get Outlook to "start", but the issue is the
same...it freezes at the very start.
