Outlook 2007 Beta 2 -- 'Not Implelented' Error

Good morning Will,

Last night I downloaded the beta release of Office 2007, and ended up
spending a better portion of the night exploring it. One little issue I have
encountered with Outlook is inability to use any of the features... Once
installed, the program read and translated all the settings of my 2003
version to the beta. Hwever when I opened the program and tried to send a
message, I got a 'Feature not implemented' error. After a little more of
exploring, I realized that this is the case with most of the menus of
Outlook. I tried to repair it this morning and the message received was
'Unable to complete installation, sorry for the inconvenience.' Any
suggestions? Thoughts? Recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

try a new profile and if that fails, detect and repair. if that fails,
uninstall it and reinstall.

control panel, mail... and seriously - if you don't know basic outlook
functions you should not be using a beta of the product. It's buggy enough
for experienced users.

Diane, appreciate the concern. Use of 'profile' was a bit ambiguous in your
reply. Clarification was needed. Thanks for the concern.
