Outlook 2007 Beta 2 email, contacts, calender porblem

I just downloaded the beta 2 update to office 2007. I get the following
message when I attempt to start a new email, look at a contact or add a
calender item.
"the messaging interface has returned an unknown error"

I googled the problem and it suggested I use scanpst.exe to fix the problem.
Scanpst.exe is not on my computer. I tried to download it but because I
don't have cnfnot32.exe I could not download it. I then tried to re-download
the beta 2 update but it wouldn't let me do that because it is already on my
computer.

Also, the scroll bars on my email page show a portion of the to-do bar. I
am not a happy camper and could use (and would be extremly gratefull for) any
help

Did you try to repair the install? If an upgrade over an older version, did
you make a new profile?

Thanks Diane

Completly frustrated I did a system restore to yesterday morning. I
expected it to remove beta 2 but it didn't. I must have removed a portion of
the upgrade without knowing it. Anyway, that fixed my problem. I still have
Beta 2 TR and my email works. Thanks again,
