I had Windows Desktop Search v2.5 installed on my computer when i downloaded
and installed the requierd Desktop Search v3 for outlook. Now i can't see my
deskbar next to my systray and i am no longer able to seach my computer.

How can i get back my ability to search my computer?

Also, am still not able to seach my outlook contacts (instant seach), i keep
getting "Outlook cannot perform your seach" and a pop up saying 'The
messeging interface has returnd an unknown error', i've restarted outlook
several times and still keep getting the errors.

Any ideas???

You'll need to wait until a UI for WDS 3 is released.
As for searching Outlook - it can take quite a while for the initial index
to be built.

When I try to update to V3 I receive an "Access is Denied" error message and
it deletes V2.5. I then need to reload 2.5. Each time I open Outlook 2007 I
get the message to upgrade to V3, and this happens every time. Can anyone
help?

What does it show you in Control Panel, Indexing Options?
