Outlook 2007 Beta 2 can Receive email from Exchange Server

I have just upgraded to XP to 2007 Beta2. For Outlook all my settings were
migrated across OK. However when I try to Sync with my Exchange Server 2000
(Corp) the operations fails with: Task Microsift Exchange Server - Receiving
reported error (0x80040102) : The requested operation can't be performed on
this account.

Info:

* Was working yesterday.
* I am in a corporate LAN, so no connectivity issues to Exchange server.
* If I try to open my exchange server mailbox (within the folder pane) and
see if I have message sin my inbox, I do not see any (but I know I have 10's
as I have OWA and can get to my inbox through browser).

Help?!

Having the same problem....messages in my Inbox, but can't see. Would
appreciate any suggestions re a resolution.

Well I had to actually change the setting to not have the Exchange Server
account constantly send/receive. Can't you just hook up your e-mail account
with whatever Exchange settings?

So it now kind of works:

* First I specifically configured that outlook asks my username-pwd every
time I startup the application.
* Then I turned of the Exchange Cache off.
* Then I saw in this forum that the sync will fail with Beta 2 as a "Known
Issue" if I have delivery to my *.pst. They say this will be fixed in an RC
or Final load. the workaround is to actually drag and drop your messages from
your Exchange Mailbonx into your *.pst mailbox. As this is not automatiz it
is quite annoying having to check every time if new mail has arrived.

Another workaround would be to use a rule to move new incoming items into the .pst file's folders.
