Outlook 2007: AVG Certification Attachement Always Appears

S

sameer_z

I hope you are well.

I am using Outlook 2007.

As of last week every email that I receive has an accompanying "AVG
Certification" attachment.

I would like to remove this so that I can easily search for attachments in
the future.

Please provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to get rid of this
pesky attachment for Office 2007.

Thanks.

It has nothing to do with Office. It's coming from AVG. Suggest you
contact AVG support.

Simple. Uninstall AVG, then do a custom re-install and DO NOT INSTALL any
email scanning features. Email scanning is redundant, it does nothing but
create problems where none exist, and your system is FULLY protected without
it, provided you keep AVG's resident file system scanner up to date.
Indeed, email scanners now create substantially more trouble than the
malware they're supposed to keep out.
