Outlook 2007 automatically creating Backup Profiles

I have come across a problem with some of my users. They will call saying
they are prompted to choose a profile. I will go to their desk and in the
list it will have Outlook (the default), then Backup to Outlook, Backup2 to
Outlook, Backup 3 to Outlook, ect. Typically I remove all the profiles
(including the default) and create a new profile for the user.

This has happend on several of my users now. I did a search through google
but was unable to find anything as to what can be causing this. Does anyone
have any thoughts? We have outlook so it does not create a pst file. Any
help would be appreciated.

Outlook does not create profiles on its own. Those people must be doing it
themselves somehow or running something that is doing it.
