Outlook 2007 and .oft templates

Are .oft templates still functional in Outlook 2007? I mean, it
appears that InfoPath forms are now the preferred template/form within
Outlook 2007.

That depends on the nature of the .oft template and what you hope to accomplish with it. Maybe you could provide some of those details.
