Outlook 2007 and Hotmail

Outlook 2007 seems to handle http email accounts like Hotmail differently
than 2003. In 2003 hotmail send/receive was updated just like any other
account but 2007 does not. Is this a 2007 change or is there a new setting
in 2007 that I do not understand. I want 2007 to check my Hotmail account
automatically like it does in 2003. My 2007 is running on Vista and the
Hotmail is a paid account.

I solved this problem by deleting the Hotmail account in Outlook and
re-adding it. Something must have messed it up during the upgrade from 2003
to 2007.
