Outlook 2003

I have used a transfer cable to transfer Office programs into my new mini
laptop. All Office programs function o.k. Except when i try to use Word as my
e-mail editor - it says it can't locate it or is busy, then reverts to
Outlook editor. What to do? I've selected the option in Tools/Options/Mail
format.

You might want to actually install the apps on the netbook. Simply
transferring the apps might not get everything to work right.

Thanks - i thought i had installed them. I ran the install disc on the
desktop and used the transfer cable to install on the netbook. Maybe i did
just transfer them over
however they do say Application under file type in the Program Files??
Thoughts?
