Outlook 2003

When I open Outlook 2003 it opens two instances of Outlook.I have tried to do
a Repair on the installation but it doesn't help.
When I open TaskManager I see the two instances running and have to end the
processes in TaskManager.
Could someone please help me as it also influences other applications.

Try this: close the second one, then exit the first one with File>Exit. Does
that help?
