Outlook 2003

It takes ages for the inbox to deliver messages in Outlook 2003 and sometimes
it crashes, how can you help me in laymans terms. Barb

You first: what type of account and what have you tried to fix or diagnose
the problem?
 
It's a POP account. I really don't know what steps to take.

I asked what you'd tried so far. Anything? When it crashes, that's the
exact text of any messages that are displayed?

Thanks. I think perhaps when I say it crashes I should have said it freezes.
I then have to Ctrl, Alt delete, probably doing that wrong too. So there is
no message, I have to reboot again. Also, sometimes when I click on Outlook a
message pops up from Microsoft saying you will have to end the progamme and
try again.
