I have the trial version of Office 2003 on new Media Center 2005 PC. After
starting Office I noticed that my user profile is always left open when I
shut down or log off the PC. The message said something about not
registering Outlook correctly in NT/Authority namespace?

I only have one user as administrator. Do I need to add myself again as a
limited user? I tried to look up the message on Internet but do not
understand about writing scripts and so forth. There has got to be an
easier way to install a program and have it work properly.!

What "user profile" is that? Nothing can be left open if you shut the PC
down.

If you installed Office using an Administrator account, then Outlook should
have been properly registered. Have you tried uninstalling and
reinstalling?
