Outlook 2003 & working offline

C

Chris

I am currently using Outlook 2003 with an Exchange
server. Everything allows me to work offline properly
and I can read my e-mails why working offline.

What I cannot do however is write a new e-mail while
working offline. When I do, it sits within my outbox.
When I connect to the server, I expect that it will then
synchronize and send that e-mail as it did in Outlook
XP. Now, the e-mail just disappears as if it was never
there. Does the same thing with notes and calendar
appointements. Makes working offline kind of useless...

What setting is not setup correctly to sync the offline
changes back when I connect to the exchange servers?

Hi - have you checked your sent items folder to see if the new message went
out? When you connect, do you see any sign of synchronizing occurring?

I have checked the sent log and there is no record of the
item within the sent log. Interestingly enough, the
person on the other end got the e-mail that I sent. I am
worried however that there is no record within the sent
log as I will on occasion save a copy of items sent to
specific individuals and have a rule setup for that.

No I don't see any sign of synchronizing occuring. What
should I look for?
