Using Outlook 2003
To avoid receiving spam, I first review incoming mail on Comcast website via
Internet Explorer. So when I am writing an e-mail and I click send, I want
Outlook to send the mail, not just put it in the Outbox and wait for me to
click send/receive.

I do not want to have to look for incoming spam in comcast browser before I
send each time.... Could do this in earlier version of Outlook. Thanks for
your help... Bruce

While viewing your Inbox, click Tools>Options>Mail Setup. Is "Send
immediately while connected" checked? You can also set up two send/receive
groups, making one a send-only and one a receive-only so that you can
control sending and receiving separately.

I don't know why you think you have to do this.
