I currently use Office XP Professional 2002.
If I just want to upgrade to Outlook 2003, do I have to upgrade the entire
suite?

Thanks,
Roberto

If you depend on Office automation (spell check, mail merges, send to from
Office applications, etc.) then you will need to have the same version of
Outlook and Office. If these things do not matter, then you can keep Office
XP and install only Outlook 2003.

I had to take a break from scratching my head to ask;
Would it be prudent to wait for the next realease of XP Pro Office?
I have no great urgent need to upgradr now.

If your current version of Office is doing everything that you need it to,
why bother upgrading? Microsoft has said that the next version of Office
will not be released until the next version of Windows is released, probably
sometime late in 2006.

There won't be any "next release" of Office XP Pro. Office 2003 is its
repacement.
