Outlook 2003 to 2007

I purchased a Dell with Office 2003 Basic pre-installed with an offer to
upgrade to 2007 when it became available. When I upgraded, Word and Excel
upgraded fine but Outlook did not. I received error code 13004 and the
message "Update Service does not recognize this product." Any suggestions on
successful upgrading?

My computer is running XP SP2
I am connected to a server running SBS 2003 with Exchange.

Do you have the original Office 2003 install kit? If so, you should be able
to remove the prior Office and install Office 2007 Basic. If the Office
2007 Basic install in a upgrade kit, it should validate prior ownership by
asking for your old CD at some point and if it's a full kit, it should
install without any prior version available.
