Outlook 2003 Reminders not "popping up"?

For some reason, none of the reminders/appointments that I have set up in the
calendar will "pop up" to remind me? This function used to work but now
doesn't.

I have tried the outlook/resetfolders and /cleanfolders but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

I am not sure of exact circumstances of your set-up. I had this problem. I
resolved it by using the detect and repair with the option to reset
everything to default settings. Unbelievably, this worked and Outlook is
just like it was first installed.

I won't go into my grieveances about the above issue but try this technique.
