I have bought a new PC today, installed MS Outlook 2003.
I then over-wrote the PST file in the C:\Documents and
Settings\HP_Administrator\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst.
As I have now over-written this file Outlook will not start as it says that
it cannot open my default e-mail folder (as above) as the outlook.pst file
could not be found.
I have completely un-installed Office Professional 2003 however it will not
create a new PST file and I cannoy go in to Outlook to create one. Basically
Outlook 2003 i now dead on my PC. I have checked the file settings of the
file I copied over and the it was not marked as Read Only so i haven't a clue
what to do next!!!
