Outlook 2003 - problems opening Archive file

Outlook 2003. I have very large Archive file 6.5GB which I now cannot load
Error message:
the datafile was not closed properly - file being checked for problems. after
the check there is a delay an the error message: an error occurred which
prevented the file Archive.pst from being saved.
Please advise if there is a solution. I have carried out a repair with
SCANPST

What did ScanPST.EXE show? Also, it might take multiple runs of ScanPST.EXE
to fix some more egregious errors.

The first run of ScanPST found 300-400 errors. I have run ScanPST 3 times
with no new errors. Same error messages occur when I try to open Archive.pst

Now okay following a few more repeats of ScanPST and attempt to load. Many
