Outlook 2003 on Windows 2003 - Unable to send or receive email.

I just install MS Office 2003 the full package to a Windows 2003 machine.

I use a backup.pst file and restore the backup to the new outlook 2003. The
backup.pst was from another machine running Windows XP but using the same MS
Office 2003.

When I click the "Send/Receive" button the following error is what I got.

"You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation"

I have no idea what went wrong and did my search through MS office webby but
found no solution. Could anyone help me with this problem.

See if it helps to create a new profile with your email account(s) added. If
that works then open the backup pst and copy items to the new default PST.
