Outlook 2003 Not Sending and Receiving

I've got Outlook 2003, but the send and receive fails
with "Task 'pop.central.cox.net - Sending' reported error
(0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object could not
be found.'

The account settings look OK (they worked on my other
computer with Outlook 2002), and the "test" button in the
account settings dialog indicates everything is hunky
dory, but things aren't working right. Any ideas?
