Outlook 2003 / No line wrapping

Hi,

first of all: Couldn't find a solution after doing some googling.

My problem is: Automatic line wraps don't happen. No, it's certainly not the
"Remove extra line breaks" option being checked. I write my emails in
plain/text, the only line breaks that appear in a message's source code are
those inserted manually. The default setting of wrapping lines at 76
characters is set and I don't see any option to completely disable / enable
line wrapping, so I'm a bit at a loss. Yes, it's definetly not a problem of
the (different) MUAs used for viewing these emails either.

The problem has been present with Outlook XP, which was upgraded to 2003
some time ago. Unfortunately it's still the same with 2003. Any insight
would be appreciated (any registry keys to check?). Thanks everyone.

RE: Have you checked MKBA #823921?

Just found that a few seconds before you posted. Thanks, I'll check tomorrow
since the problem occurs at work (and I'm not desperate enough to use
Outlook at home yet). Until then I'll pray that WrapLines 1 will do. Glad to
see that it's possible to force clean 8-bit encoding instead of qp / base64
for messages Outlook feels like encoding differently by default as well.

To everyone else, good read: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=823921
