Outlook 2003 - New Mail Notifications - SBS 2003

Hi,

Recently my clients has started to complain that their Outlook 2003 is not
giving them new mail notifications until they manually do a send and
receive. They are all running XP Pro and I was wondering if anyone was aware
of solutions to this problems. From reading on the web it would appear that
an rpc service polls the Exchange server every minute to see if there is new
mail, could the problem be related to Windows XP SP2 ?

Any help is most welcome.

Certainly could. Add Outlook to the firewall exceptions list.
