Outlook 2003 - New Mail not visible in Inbox

Hi:

I'm using Outlook 2003. I believe I may have a corrupted personal folders
file. New mail is not being displayed in Inbox. I can see new mail in
Unread Mail, but not in Inbox. I ran scanpst.exe and got an indication that
an error was corrected, but the problem persists. I would appreciate any
clues on how to diagnose and correct this vexing problem. Thanks!

In what folder does the Unread Mail Search Folder tell you the messages
reside?

Thanks for your response. Although the problem continued after I ran
scanpst.exe, Outlook now seems to be working normally again. Perhaps I
needed to close and restart Outlook or reboot to have the corrections made by
scanpst take effect. At any rate, PROBLEM SOLVED!

Thanks again for your help.

Well, you couldn't have run scanpst at all if Outlook had been opened.
