I have Outlook 2003 running on WinXP. Mysteriously, I've lost the
color and 3d effects of the items in the Navigation pane.

I've run the Detect and Repair in Outlook.

I've run Repair on Office.

I uninstalled Office, deleted the Office folders, and deleted Office
entries in the registry (apparently not all of them, however).

Still no resolution.

Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks so much for your help.

Everything else still looks OK and in color? Start Outlook with the
/resetnavpane switch to completely reset the Navigation Pane (all
customizations of it will get lost!)

Tips of the month:
-Creating Signatures
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

Thanks for the input. Actually, the entire color scheme and 3d
effects have disappeared everywhere. I did try many of the command
line switches, deleted Outlook profiles and recreated them, tested
other network accounts and it's the same across the board.

You might say I'm stumped...

Update your videocard driver and also make sure your Desktop settings are
configured correctly;
Control Panel-> Display-> tab Settings
