outlook 2003 missing emails

i am running an exchange server with outlook 2003. i have a user who is
receving emails on a laptop as well as a blackberry but states he is missing
emails in his inbox when he logs in to the terminal server at the plant. does
anyone have any suggestions?
 
does he maybe have the blackberry or laptop set up as a pop3 server, and it
is deleting messages from the server? You could shut off the exchange pop3
and see what happens. Or is he just flat out deleting them himself?

I suspect the missing messages are exactly the ones received by the
blackberry.
 
if he is using the same profile from the exchang server, would either of
these scenarios be possible? i am a relatively new network support tech and
havent seen this one before. thanks.
 
Do you recommend removing him from the blackberry server, wiping his phone
cleand, and resetting him up on the bes? this just started happening
recently. thanks for any help.
