Outlook 2003 managing accounts question

A friend of mine has Outlook 2003. He has multiple email addresses and would
like to have all the email go into one inbox, and have just one calendar, one
contact list etc.

Originally, he had an MSN MAPI email account through his DSL provider and it
was routed to Outlook. When he added a new email account to Outlook (POP3
tied to his web site), he now has two inboxes (one associated with each email
account), two calendars and two contact lists (in the Folder View you can see
the one set of folders associated with the MSN email account and the other
associated with the newly added email account under "Personal Folders").How
can he consolidate his Outlook into one set of folders so there are not two
separate calendars, two separate contact lists and so on? Thanks!

Unless he wants to store everything on the msn server, he'll need two sets
of folders. He can set the MSN folder as default message store but then the
pop mail will be uploaded unless he uses rules to move the mail to a local
pst - he'll still have two psts, but one calendar.

Thanks for responding. I should have also added that he wants to use the
POP3 account as the default (not the MSN one), so does that change your
answer? If he weren't using the MSN account at all and all email accounts
were POP3s would he be able to use one pst folder and have one inbox, one
calendar, etc? Thx~Carol

If he wants the pop address default, I think he can still set the msn pst as
the default delivery location... but it's probably better to use a local pst
in this case. But yes, if he only has POP3 accts, he would have one PST -
one inbox, one calendar etc.
