All the copies of Outlook 2003 in are firm have the entire Macro menu
greyed out and unavailable. We recently installed Small Business
Server 2003 and used its wizards to install Outlook.

I am assuming that SBS took the libery to use some standard group
policy, registry settings or other Windows feature to disable this
menu. But I can't for the life of me find any documentation to how
this might have been done.

Any developer here know what options would disable the menu in Outlook
and how to reverse?

I don't think SBS does anything like that by default. You can bring up the group policy modeling tool to check for yourself.

You can also rerun Outlook setup to see whether the VBA components (they'll be under Office, not Outlook) were installed.

Bingo! I was just assuming that it was some sort of lockdown setting.
Seems a little odd that the security menu was inaccessible without that
installation option.

Thanks once again.
