Outlook 2003; How to send to a Suppressed List

How do I create an email list that shows the words "List Suppressed" or "Suppressed List" in the "To..." or "Bcc..." box in lieu of the individual addressee names.

I have been using a regular distribution list with a name for the list, which is placed in the "Bcc..." box. But this is sometimes an unsatisfactory solution, as each individual addressee sees their name only and, therefore, thinks they are the only addressee; whereas, if they see the words "List Suppressed" they realize they are part of a list of several addressees.

Thank you for any helps.

Actually, it would be very odd for the BCC recipients to see their own names
when they receive the message -- they shouldn't see any names you put in the
BCC field, including their own. If you're not putting anything in the To
field when using BCC, perhaps something at the server level is putting a
value in the To field. At any rate, the easiest thing for you to do would
be to create a new contact with a name like "List Suppressed" and your own
e-mail address. When the recipient receives the message, he/she will see
List Suppressed in the To field, and of course they can investigate further
and see that your e-mail address is attached to it, but as you say, they
should be able to figure it out from there. They would not see their own
e-mail address, nor any of the others you put in BCC.
